DALTON, Neb. - Weather permitting, work is scheduled to begin April 23 on US-385 in Dalton, from Reference Post 50 To 54.
According to the Nebraska Department of Transportation, the $2.8 million project will include milling, installing new storm water pipes, placing new concrete pavement, and sidewalk repair with ADA curb ramps.
One-way traffic will be maintained with temporary traffic signals and a 12-foot width restriction. Some minor work will be performed with flaggers. The project is anticipated to be completed by October 2018.
A public information meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 17, from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Leyton Public School, 504 Main Street, in Dalton.
Motorists are asked to drive cautiously through construction zones, and to expect delays. NDOT said that they thank the public for their patience during construction.
