Shirley A. Webster

Shirley A. Webster, 64, of Kimball, died peacefully at Kimball Health Services on Thursday, October 19, 2017. A celebration of life is scheduled for 2:00pm on October 25,, 2017 at the Trinity United Methodist Church, with. Pastor Carla Gunn officiating. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Shirley’s life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Panhandle Humane Society at 126 S Beltline Hwy West Scottsbluff, NE 69361 or to a local animal shelter in her name. Friends may visit www.cantrellfh.com to view Shirley’s Tribute Wall to leave condolences for the family. The services for Shirley have been entrusted to the Cantrell Funeral Home in Kimball.

Shirley was born on November 4, 1952 in Florence, AZ to Virgil and Florence (Irvin) Hensley. She graduated from Estancia High School in 1971. She eloped and married the love of her life, Don in 1974. The couple welcomed four children into their home and Shirley set about building a happy home for her family. Her children remember her as a loving mother who encouraged them to pursue their dreams and greet life’s challenges with not only tenacity but with a sense of humor. Shirley was accomplished at cooking, gardening, and the delivery of the perfect one-liner. She could often be found sharing a cup of coffee with her dear friends or in an animated phone call with her very best friend, her sister. She was a generous, witty, dedicated individual who loved her husband, her children and her fur babies.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 43 years, Don (Kimball, NE); her children, daughter Carolyn (Quakertown, PA), granddaughters Caitlin and Erin; daughter Beth (Byers, CO) son-in-law Seth, son Joe (Johnstown, CO) daughter-in-law Melissa, son Jeff (Casper, WY) daughter-in-law Ashlee, granddaughter Addison; her siblings, Bill (Star Valley, AZ) and Louise (Gilbert, AZ) brother-in-law Keith and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, her sister-in-law Sylvia, her brother Jim and her infant grandson Jonathan.
