KIMBALL, Neb. - Home court or field advantage is often described in sports like basketball and football, but the Kimball Longhorns boys golf team showed that advantage can also be held on the golf course. At Tuesday’s Class C District 5 Boys Golf competition at Four Winds Golf Course in Kimball, the Longhorns outshot second place Perkins County by 33 finishing with a overall team score of 309.

Junior Dillon Wise finished with a 73 on the day to take first place at the event. All five Kimball golfers qualified individually for the state competition as the Longhorns had all five finish in the top eight. Senior Kole Bush shot a 78 on the day followed by fellow senior Andrew McCloud with a 79. Junior Zane Anthony matched his teammate McCloud at 79 and junior Izaac Reuter totaled an 81.
